Meet Erik Endress at the intersection of social media and school boards
This is the inaugural post in our Meet the Edcampers post series. If you’d like to be featured here, just fill out this form!
Name: Erik Endress
How are you involved in education?
I am the Director of Association and Business Development for the New Jersey School Boards Association. We are the federation for more than 600 public and charter school districts here in the State.
What’s your ideal classroom or school like?
I believe its time to transform education from what is was to what it can be. Changes to the physical plant, the learning environment, the methods of how we teach and how students interact can all transform.
Have you ever attended an unconference before? If so, which ones?
Yes. I was a co-creator of Crisis Camp. I attended Gov 2.0 in DC and Mobile/Social for Good in NYC.
If you were to lead a session at Edcamp, what would it be about?
What can school boards do for educators.
