How are you involved in education?
I am a computer education/business education teacher at Palmyra Area High School in Lebanon County, PA. I completed my course work in the Educational Technology/Leadership doctoral program at Wilkes University. Recently, I was named one of the fifty fellows selected nationwide for the Siemens STEM Institute 2011-2012 class in Washington, DC this July. I also design, develop, and deliver professional development technology training at the K-12 and higher education levels.

What’s your ideal classroom or school like?
A computer lab coming alive with students creating and collaborating together on authentic projects, developing 21st century skills, exploring, experimenting, and building expertise and confidence through Web 2.0 tools and software……filled to the brim with social learning!

Have you ever attended an unconference before?
No. I have not attended an unconference, but am very anxious to do so.

If you were to lead a session at Edcamp, what would it be about?
Teaching a high school Emerging Technologies course, complete with units, projects, rubrics, and student examples.
