Meet Stacy Kasse, Third Grade Teacher

If you’d like to be featured in our Meet the Edcampers series, fill out this form!

How are you involved in education?
I work for Medford Township Schools in Medford, NJ, as a third grade teacher. I am also the event planner for NJ for Discovery Education.

What’s your ideal classroom or school like?
Each of my students would have a laptop, Kindle or Nook, and enough books to read for a year. My administrators would support me in using technology and give me a Promethean, clickers for answers and allow me to buy any new software and DOWNLOAD it myself. No sites would be blocked and I could skype and do so much more with my students.

Have you ever attended an unconference before?
no…looking forward to this one

If you were to lead a session at Edcamp, what would it be about?
Sharing is Caring. For the “newbies” or “dirt road” people who are eager to learn new things they can use in the classroom on Monday.

Do you have a website or blog?
School website:

Are you on Twitter?

What is your favorite digital tool?
so many…right now I am using bookemon with my class.
